Feasibility Study:
The overall goal for the feasibility study is to determine the buildable footprint and cost for improvements to build your custom home. Below are some of the items we'll be diving into and figuring out during the feasibility study phase:

- Utilities
-
Sewage/ Septic: Adam Laneer Design (ALD) will research the anticipated type of system required for your property and approximate cost for installation in consultation with the septic designer.
-
Water (Well): ALD will research the well logs to determine the average well depths in your geographical area. ALD will take that average depth and consult with the well driller to determine the anticipated cost for installing the well.
-
Power: ALD will contact PSE or other electric provider to determine service availability and approximate the costs and strategy involved in getting power to your property.
-
Phone/Cable/ Internet: ALD will contact the local supplier and determine service availability and approximate the costs and strategy involved in getting services to your property.
-
Natural Gas/ Propane (LP): ALD will contact PSE or other gas provider to determine service availability and approximate the costs and strategy involved in getting power to your property.
-
-
Site Development:
-
Clearing: ALD will determine the amount of clearing needed (if necessary) to start site work for the placement of home.
-
Construction and final driveway: ALD will determine the associated costs to install the construction driveway and final driveway.
-
Grading: ALD will determine the associated costs with preliminary grading in preparation for home site construction to begin.
-
-
Critical Areas:
-
Wetlands: If there are any wetlands near or on the property, ALD will help to determine the setback requirements and if a delineation for mitigation will be required.
-
Hazardous Areas: If there are any critical slope areas or other hazardous areas, ALD will help to identify and determine setback requirements and if further service professionals will be required (i.e. ecotechnological engineer).
-
-
Building Permits: ALD will research and determine the approximate budget for the building permit fees based on the permitting jurisdiction’s fee schedule. This includes costs for the building permit, planning fees, park and transportation impact fees, and school mitigation fees.
